osteopathy for adults

we call our osteopaths the jedi-knights of manual therapy — they know how to listen to your body so they can get to the source of your pain — so you feel your very best.

manual magic that brings balance to your body

We humans are complex beings and face microscopic trauma or bigger traumas daily. Maybe it’s missing a step going down the stairs, falling really hard on your butt while snowboarding or having some acid reflux you can’t seem to shake.

Osteopathy is a modality of bodywork that can treat and prevent a variety of dysfunctions in your body: whether acute or chronic. By working with the interrelated systems and functions of the body, osteopathy can return the body to normal health so it can self-heal and self-regulate.

Our osteopaths use a personalized mix of approaches (ie. cranial, visceral, musculoskeletal, lymphatic, vascular, etc.) and work with the body's fascia (the connected tissue in your body that holds us together!) to find restrictions and reestablish mobility.

Techniques include gentle osteo-articular mobilizations, myofascial release, neurokinetic therapy (NKT - reprogramming of muscle compensations), anatomy in motion (AiM) exercises, visceral manipulation, cranial sacral therapy, intra-oral osteopathic techniques, cupping and K-taping.

Expecting a little one? Or just welcomed your bundle of joy?

pregnancy and postpartum support

Our gentle osteopathic techniques can help you navigate those beautiful, but sometimes bumpy, transitions. Focusing on the body’s natural ability to heal and adapt, osteopathic treatments involve improving joint mobility, reducing muscle tension during pregnancy and aiding in the recovery process by restoring function and creating balance during the postpartum period. Treatments also help improve breathing mechanics, promoting relaxation and better pain management during childbirth.
